Cookies and browser storage
WinShark Canada Guide is designed for straightforward reading and on-page interaction. The site does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
The homepage check does not keep a stored session
The crypto value exposure check on the homepage performs its calculation in the browser. It does not use cookies or local storage to preserve the amounts, percentage movement, network-cost inputs or coin selection between visits.
If you reload the page or return later, the tool starts from its normal illustrative inputs. Those starting values are part of the on-page scenario and are not a record of a previous visit.
What that means during normal browsing
Reading articles, following internal navigation and using the exposure check do not require a tracking profile on WinShark Canada Guide. The site does not rely on advertising or analytics cookies to make its core pages work.
Your browser may still maintain ordinary technical data as part of its own operation, such as cached page resources or history, depending on your browser settings. Those browser features are controlled through the browser rather than by the homepage exposure check.
You remain in control of browser data
Modern browsers provide controls for reviewing and clearing site data, cache and browsing history. You can use those controls at any time if you want to remove locally held browser data associated with a visit.
For broader information about data handling, including the possibility of standard hosting logs, read the privacy information. For the publication’s purpose and scope, see About WinShark Canada Guide.
The guide and WinShark are separate services
Cookie or storage choices made on WinShark itself are governed by that service and are separate from WinShark Canada Guide. The information here describes the behaviour of WinShark Canada Guide only.
Return to the homepage to read the independent overview or use the browser-based crypto value exposure check.
